Company grew up from the former Artificial Intelligence
Laboratory of the Computer Institute of Beijing University of
Post and Telecommunication. Xu Xingning, the well-known
professor of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication and
the telecommunication sector nationwide, leads the Artificial
Intelligence Laboratory. The
Research
Center
mainly specializes in such key technical innovative projects
supported by the state as troubleshooting of exchanger, test
of special chips, test of No. 7 signaling equipment, etc. In
as early as 1985, the
Research
Center
undertook the key scientific research task of the former
Ministry of Post and Telecommunication: fault diagnosis and
test of exchanger. The Research Center was awarded the Second
Prize of Progress in Science and Technology by the former
Ministry of Post and Telecommunication and filled up the
technology gap for China, saving a great deal of foreign
currency for the state. The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory
has accumulated rich experience during its long term testing
practice, and in the meantime opened fault diagnosis
curriculum for postgraduates enrolled through examination. The
curriculum is of high level in theoretic research.

cooperation of Beijing Telesun Science and Technology
Development Company Ltd on the basis of the former Artificial
Intelligence Laboratory of
the Computer Institute under Beijing University of Post
and Telecommunication. The main members of the Center have
participated in the construction of national No. 7 signaling
network, GSM, intelligence network and ISDN and have worked
out the HSTP-LSTP interconnection criteria for national No. 7
signaling network, STP equipment testing, etc., and taken part
in the testing work of the national No. 7 signaling network,
accumulating therefore rich testing experience.
BUPT Telesun Information Technology Research Center, on the
basis of the solid foundation laid by the Artificial
Intelligence Laboratory and in combination with the
internationally advanced computer technology of the current
time, makes an in-depth research on the international
universal standard in the field of computer network and
communication and carries out such scientific and technical
research work of great significance as the test of
communication network system, representative communication
products , etc.
